We needed a vendor which really understands technology and has the technical ability to work across multiple software environments, languages and the capacity to add resource as required.

The approach has worked well for us, their teams have spent time to fully understand our development processes, database design and enabled us to launch new features.

Regular communication with their team via Skype/Email and use with Jira. They always do their best to hit deadlines and are good to communicate issues if/when the arise.

They're very technically capable and enthusiastic. Their good communication has enabled us to use this service like its part of our own team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall we're very satisifed with the work done so far so I'd just say to keep working closely with us to help make a great product so we all benefit.

We searched online for web developers. Classic was responsive, cost-efficient, and they listened to our needs.

We receive multiple submissions to our website each day now.

Approached by their sales person and deciding factors were; historical deliveries, experience, team set up and fluidity.

Using React/Node the team was quickly set up to match our requirements. Working in an agile environment we were able to get stories prepared, designs ready and get developing in a matter of weeks. The team were on hand to answer questions, assist and respond to feedback v well.

Communicating through Skype/Basecamp/Jira the team were ultra responsive to our questions and needs. PM style was very hands on and involved as requested by us.

Their flexibility and responsiveness were most impressive.

A bit more diligent with bug testing but to their credit they have and are working on this.

What were your goals for this project?

Develop both a customer and a driver app to run on iOS and Android as well as the back end infrastructure, database, APIs, administrative features, etc.

How did you select this vendor?

Jayant at CI reached out to us on a post we made for full stack/app devs on Indeed.com. Of the 4-5 we were looking at, Jayant and the people we spoke with at CI seemed best equipped and had the most relevant experience (and full set of skills on the team) to do what we needed in the timeframe and for the cost we were looking at.

Developers (mobile, full stack, API, web, databse, etc). Networking and architecture work. DevOPS. QA. Consulting for design and strategy. They built and maintained everything and handled deployment and worked hand-in-hand with us to deliver our apps.

What was the team composition?

Different as needs evolved throughout the course of the project. We always had 1 project manager (Thank you Neha :) ) who we could get ahold of any time. Several devs worked consistently on the project since it consisted mainly of full stack and mobile dev. Sometimes we would loop in CI's design team or architecture or networking team.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Without CI, we would not have a way to get to our customers. 10/10

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was prompt and efficient. When CI needed clarification, they were quick to ask. Often they caught things we missed and recommended scenarios to us that would help us run smoothly. On that note, they took the time to really understand what it is we are doing and were very proactive with feedback and ideas.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What I mentioned in the last point - they really understood the ins and outs of what we are trying to accomplish. So instead of just being myself and my partner, we had access to several people thinking of creative ideas, in addition to development and maintenance. Also, if we had problems (sometimes our fault) they were available to fix even off-hours.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Very little. We are based in the US and CI is in India, so except for the late calls (which was easy enough to work around) there is very little I would change.
