I’m a business event director at an events company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Justin Jenkins Designs?

We wanted a logo that embodied our vision. The design had to represent Ghanaian heritage.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Justin Jenkins Designs (JJD) has designed our logo. They started with a set of guidelines and conducted research. They gave us different concept varieties, and we zeroed in on one. Currently, the team is designing website banners for us. 

What is the team composition?

We work with Justin (Founder & Designer).

How did you come to work with Justin Jenkins Designs?

I found them on Google, and we selected JJD because their style was very unique, creative, clean, and refined — it was different in a good way. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $600. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The logo project lasted from September–November 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Event attendees appreciate the art the logo JJD created; they love the colors and the overall design. Justin was able to capture the Ghanaian heritage in the logo on the first try; all of the initial options he gave us were beautiful. 

How did Justin Jenkins Designs perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver ahead of time, which was awesome. We primarily communicate through phone calls and email, though JJD uses all forms of communication well. Justin always has time to speak to us over the phone in an organized way. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Justin is very personable and always has time to schedule a call with us. Since he’s very organized, he’s never overworked and always responds to our emails. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to improve; everything’s fine.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You should trust the process. JJD is very well-versed in their field; letting their creativity flow through the project is the best way to work with them.

Hired Justin Jenkins Design to design my new product packaging. From start to finish, Justin listened and quickly understood the look I wanted to achieve. He exceeded my expectations. The packaging is exquisite and far superior to what I had been using.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For over 32 years, I've worked with numerous designers, and Justin Jenkins tops the list. His work is beautiful and original, and he's gifted with exceptional talent. Justin created new packaging for a product I'm launching. The packaging is exquisite and far superior to what I had been using.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Justin is also extraordinary at client service. Ensuring his clients are happy before, during, and after the project is of utmost importance to Justin. He meets deadlines, checks in, turns work quickly, and easily makes himself available.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's hard to find an uber-talented designer and one that is also concerned with delivering uncommon client service. Justin excels in both areas equally.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing! Justin is excellent! Hire him!
