I am the Creative Producer Lead for Quiet Films and the film The Death of My Two Fathers by award-winning filmmaker Sol Guy. At Quiet, we believe that: - Artists across all mediums should have access to the funding they need - Artists should own what they create.

We partnered with Slam Media Lab to design, build, and promote a new marketing site for the award-winning film *The Death of My Two Fathers*.
The project involved creating a beautiful and scalable website that could screen the film behind a donation-based pay wall, feature resources to create dialogue around the film and promote screenings through an event calendar.

How did you selecSlam Media Lab and what were the deciding factors?
Slam is the leader in Webflow design and development and organic search in the country.
I had worked closely with the Founder and Head of Design in the past and was well aware of their expertise and capabilities in making sites that scale in traffic through SEO, tell a powerful story, and converts. I knew this project would be left in good hands, and I was right.
One of the deciding factors was how forward-looking, fast-paced, responsive they were. I’ve recommended them to several partners and colleagues already!
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The scope included creating a marketing site for The Death of My Two Fathers, as well as optimizing all the content for search engines.
The site would feature screenings, resources, and an event calendar. Deliverables included: Visual identity mood board with examples of feel & direction Sitemap, develop site infrastructure, Website copy, SEO optimization, Meta titles + meta descriptions for all pages, Low-fidelity mock-ups.
High fidelity web page designs, CMS build, DNS configurations, Integrations, QA, and Training and documentation for the site

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We received amazing and positive feedback from our team and everyone who screened the film during our screening period. It received thousands of people visiting the site in a day, and the site worked perfectly! Partners like Slam are once in a lifetime opportunity.
They were on it with us in case we needed any support and have helped take our online presence to the next level.

The Slam team made sure we were up to speed with everything and sending updates weekly. As we got closer to launching, they sent even more regular aspects.They were skilled at the website's technical and design and amazing people that adjusted to my working style.
That special touch is what makes all the difference in the world. They used both Slack and Notion to keep track of edits, comments, and feedback. Slam Media Lab goes the extra mile so that we can learn how to use the website ourselves, instead of relying on a 3rd party to make changes.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Slam goes above and beyond to over-deliver and that is something rare in the agency business. On top of that, they wanted to ensure the website reflected the powerful storytelling of the film, so they came up with interactive concepts to engage our audience. They’re upfront, fun, nimble, hustlers, and a critical partner.
