The Free Website Guys asked a series of questions regarding my desired outcome for the website, then asked me to select a template.  From there, they went to work setting up the code and functionality of the site, to where all I had to do was add my images and wording at the it was running.

The only real metric that could be applied is time.  The team stayed in great communication with every step and told me where they were in the process and what steps needed to be taken next.

The team was extremely gracious in responding to my needs and answering any questions. If I asked a question or requested a change, it was addressed, usually, within 2-3 business days.

Cost effective, they make their money through affiliate web hosting so good for the client too.

I think there are limitations but maybe this is the only way they can make it work. The website can only be simple, limited number of hours and can only contact via email, emails can get missed or slow response. I think while there is a clear process it is very high level and can be broken down and perhaps a project plan that works well for both parties so some sense of timings.

They communicated openly, gave step by step walk throughs for each section of the process, and were incredibly patient while I figured out what I wanted. They were efficient with following through on my requests, and helping me understand the more technical aspects I was unfamiliar with. If you are wanting a website but not sure where to start, get a hold of these guys. They are amazing.

I was provided with a customizable template that I chose, which is fully edible by me. Everything on the back end was set up for me. 

I was also provided an awesome handover document in order to successfully edit my template and publish my website!
