Sven and his team worked so efficiently and effectively on my website.  Communication was prompt and they kept me on course (I don't have experience in this area) to get the project moved forward.

I was given videos for all key stages where I had to do a task or make decisions, which was super helpful.

I cannot rate The Free Website Guys highly enough. They are simply amazing. I am absolutely delighted with the website that Sven and his team have created for me. Their promise is 100% true, I haven’t been charged a penny and they have built me a great website.

I will absolutely be back to contract the team for any web development I need to have done in future, they are so knowledgeable and helpful - a pleasure to work with and I am so happy with the website they have built for me FOR FREE!

I needed help creating a website for my business from the ground up. I needed help with knowing where to go and who to use. They were able to streamline that search but not being pushy. They were able to walk me through every step with ease and speed.

I honestly cannot believe how easy, stress-free, and inexpensive this process was! I struggled to find someone in my city to do this either affordable or easier. I was shocked how much I trusted the process considering I never shake hands with these guys! I cannot praise them enough

From the moment I applied and got accepted, Sven and his team have done everything they promised. They built a modern up to date Wordpress website with a Divi theme of my choice.  I didn’t even give them a credit card number. My only expense was $1.99 a month for the hosting plan. 

They helped me every step of the way and explained everything very clearly. I am excited and passionate about my new site. The Free Website Guys are the real deal. If you’re just getting started, let them build the website of your dreams for you. You’ll be involved with describing what you want,  you pick the design theme,  and they do all the work to build it.  Then you make it your own with your own pics and info.

A+++++ highly recommended!

Set up Wordpress with standard explainer videos (not customer specific) on how to make very basic edits in Wordpress.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The only measurable outcome was that they set up Wordpress, installed some of their recommended plug ins and set up hosting.

They were supposed to add social links to the footer and never did. In fact, they only added their name to the footer for promotional purposes and nothing else. Their name has since been removed. Had they done a great job, I would have left their name in the footer.

They were supposed to change the colors in the template I purchased and never did.

The above took 6 weeks to complete and when the site was turned over for me to add links, it was not turned over with the social logos/links and colors were not changed. Totally INCOMPLETE!!

I hired an experienced Wordpress/Divi developer using Upwork and the entire website was done in 2 days for only $100 !!

They don't guarantee a specific completion time which should have been a red flat. I am assuming that this is because they do the website and hosting setup at no charge.

That being said, nothing was done in a reasonable amount of time which they stated should be 2-3 weeks. All I received was excuses about them taking on too many websites and some websites taking longer than expected to complete.

That they do it for free, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for"

Yes! Not take on sooooooo many clients at one time causing a several week delay in completing a website.

I asked the Free Website Guys to deliver me a website for my life coaching business, we decided on the 'Galatic' theme which I was really impressed with, Sven scored me a good deal for this too. There were a few up-front costs, but nothing major. Affordable for a start-up company. 

Key deliverables: On-point website with hosting (Bluehost)
Efficient communication (back and forward emails) screenshots, video's. 
Help with the back-end of the website so it doesn't crash from high traffic usage

Yes, they delivered in a timely manner, and we were amazed at how quickly things got done. They responded to my needs pretty well (although didn't like huge long requests), prefer for me to do that once they had signed over the website.

She presented my application to the team, and I was very grateful to be accepted by the team led by Svens. I am on a very limited budget, so this opportunity means a lot to me.

The communication at the start and all the way through was excellent. I was given clear instructions about what I needed to do, and the team worked on the website and updated me at regular intervals. I am absolutely delighted with the website itself.
Throughout the process I was taught how to do various things myself and I am now in a position where I am able to edit the website myself. I picked Divi Elegant Themes, and I am finding this straightforward to use.

I have bipolar disorder and near the start of our project I became very unwell with a bipolar relapse. I thought that I would not be able to continue with creating the website. However, Sven and the team said exactly the right things to me. They told me to take extra time if I needed it and they made it really easy for me to continue with the website despite having to work through a difficult period of illness at the same time. Therefore I am adding a Disability Friendly Review of Five Stars.

In terms of affordability, I would not have been able to pay for a team to design my website at full price. So, I am exceptionally grateful for the opportunity provided by Sven’s dedicated team. Again, this comes under inclusion. The Free Website Team are clearly motivated by a moral compass and in the modern world in which we live it is very important to find champions such as these.
