We started with first analyzing my needs, then we went from the technical part towards the design and it was a lot of fun

What was the team composition?

Innitially I spoke with another person, but he connected me quickly with Sven, and for the entire process I communicated mostly with Sven.

But I know there were also other colleagues of Sven working on my website, they just kept it professional and let me communicate only with Sven. Which was great.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new design makes my PR business look more professional and overall I feel like is getting more eyeballs. Which is the most important part in PR, and in any other business

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we were assigned, (Sven), was very professional an easy to communicate with. Everything he promised was right on time, most of the times even sooner.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They accuracy and professionalism, and especially how easy they made it even for someone like me . (I'm the least tech person possible, but they made all these videos for me helping me how to navigate through every step of the way.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nope, everything is just absolutely perfect. Just keep up the good work.

I hired The Free Website Guys to create an eCommerce website for my new online clothing brand. My goal was to receive a website appealing to my needs to sustain my business.

I saw an ad posting about The Free Website Guys in a Facebook entrepreneur group. I hadn't explored my options yet for creating a website but knew I needed too.

So when the opportunity arose it wasn't hard to decide whether I should try them or not. I read the reviews and it sounded very promising.

The project was time-consuming but very reasonable considering we were building a website. We had communicated through email and videos and screenshots were sent to help understand the process of the steps needed to take.

We had to choose which subscriptions we wanted and a list of options was always given. We were presented with options for add-ons to add features to the website; all of which were explained and discussed via email.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Initially, I spoke to Ricardo from the team through Facebook but then all proceeding communication was through Sven via email.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As for the project, the website is online, up and running with everything I wanted, and even more detail, that was not expected. There currently aren't any results with the actual feedback from the website because it isn't officially online.

Our communication was strictly through email. Their response times were exceptional and reasonable and if for whatever reason there needed to be space between regular response times, it was always communicated! I was very pleased with this.

The most impressive thing was their skill to be able to explain and thoroughly break down difficult steps or concepts to someone who was at a beginner's level.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I was very pleased with everything, and I like the concept of "free" to gain a reputation first. Keep it up!

With Tourism still closed in Sri Lanka it is too early to share any outcomes

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

"Bumping into" the Free Website Guys on a Facebook group came at the perfect time for Asanka's Travels. With Sri Lankan tourism at its lows thanks to the Easter bombings and now COVID-19 Asanka's travels really needed a great website and we definitely came across the right people to help us. Everything was so clearly explained at every step with no room for error.

Even for tech novices like we and Sven was a breeze to communicate with. The hand-over video explains exactly how we can edit and add at the drop of a hat and if there are problems, The Free website guys have teamed us up with great support at Elegant themes.

A sense of overall cost right from the beginning would be helpful i.e. ongoing WordPress costs and Elegant Themes fees

Their support with my website helped me to launch the project a lot quicker than if I would have done it on my own. It also made sure I have all the necessary plug-ins and the right architecture set up for me.

I really liked working with Sven and The Free Website Guys. They always replied very kindly and quickly to e-mails/questions, and communicated updates in a timely manner.

The explanatory videos they used were very useful and they made it easy to work with them (even for tech noobs like me).

I think their business model is very unique and inspiring. I definitely benefitted from the opportunity to get a free website that has everything I need. They also provide high-quality advice to make sure you end up with a product you can keep using in the long-term.

They work with a couple of hosting and theme providers at the moment, it would be great if they could further broaden their options for future customers.

The time lines were very realistic. I did not feel pressured as I had so many other things going on at the same time. They communicated via email and sent sever videos messages providing clear information about the tasks to be done and the reason why everything was done. Responses to my emails were very prompt and thorough.

The professionalism and customer care was exceptional. There was a lot of thought put into the process and it was smooth.

This is totally personal style here but maybe slight adjustment to the site icon that shows up in the address bar when you search the site. Purely aestheticThe outcome was fantastic!!!
